nope. there is no guarantee that you have a ‘domain’ name (if that is what you are referring to) is worth any money at all.
Yes, you absolutely can still make money flipping websites. I did it for a long time until I got to a point where I had several successful websites so that I did not need to do it anymore.
My advice would be to search webmaster forums like SitePoint and DigitalPoint for low income producing websites that are available for sale and buy them. Once you have the site lets say it is making $100 a month, you begin to work on the seo for the site, building backlinks and traffic, maybe change out the advertising methods, or add an affiliate program. Once all of this done, get it to a point where it is making more money than it was when you bought it, hold it for a few months and sell it off.
If you can show a substantial increase in earnings over a period of time, you will be able to resell the site for considerably more than you biught it. I used to run multiple sites at a time with this method. Not only are you collecting the money while the site is building income you also make the money when you sell it off, so it can be pretty lucrative, if you play your cards right.
